This time, I am sharing a Cosplay photoshoot themed around Phrolova's "The Undying Song's Elegant Gown" from Wuthering Waves. I personally love the tailoring and color coordination of this outfit very much.

In terms of costume details, this white off-the-shoulder dress is highly layered. The crossed thin straps at the neckline and the red ribbon at the waist form sharp visual anchors, while the oversleeves pieced together with white gauze and lace make the overall look appear lightweight and exquisite. The mint green long braided wig is one of the key focuses of the entire look, and paired with the bright red spider lily headpiece, the red-and-green contrast is highly eye-catching in the frame. To match the classical gorgeousness of this styling, I specially spent some time adjusting my eye makeup before shooting, deepening the red smudging at the outer corners of the eyes to make the melancholy and decisiveness in my gaze more natural for this Roleplay creation.

The shooting scene was arranged with a great sense of atmosphere; the deep brown vintage genuine leather sofa and dark red velvet curtain laid the groundwork for the overall tone. Plus the golden carved mirror frame, scattered music sheets, as well as the black violin and red bouquet used as props, all of these elements perfectly fit the character's inherent setting. During the shooting process, the photographer paid great attention to the control of light and shadow, using top and side lighting to outline the texture of the skirt hem and the gloss of the braids. This kind of retro, romantic, yet subtly Gothic visual effect unique to Anime-style photography is exactly what I wanted to present.

In addition to static poses, this time we also experimented with some dynamic candid shots. For instance, holding a flower and reaching outward, or lifting the skirt hem while standing, attempting to transmit the character's seemingly cold, proud, and unyielding inner emotions through body language. Among these photos, my favorite is the composition where I'm sitting on the sofa holding the violin; the overall frame is highly complete, and my gaze happened to focus right on the lens.

This collaboration was highly pleasant. The photographer really knew how to guide the model to relax in the environment, and the final photos hold a wonderful layered sense of light and shadow. For post-processing, we mainly enhanced the red and white contrast in our color calibration, preserving the dark-toned texture of the sofa and background without over-smoothing the skin, striving to maintain the texture of the skin and the real reflection of the wig. The process of shooting this set of works felt like telling a slightly sorrowful story. I hope these photos can also let everyone feel the dedication behind this look.
