For this shoot, I cosplayed Phrolova from Wuthering Waves. The overall look features a red and black color scheme paired with silver-white braids and a gothic dress, creating a powerful visual impact. The set was decorated with red rose petals, a black throne, skulls, birdcages, and a giant glowing clock backdrop, maximizing the dark style photography atmosphere. The corset and ruffle design of this dress is particularly layered, and combined with black platform boots, it retains the character's cool demeanor while adding a touch of heroic sharp energy. During the shoot, I tried different compositions such as standing while holding the sword, kneeling close-ups, and sitting on the throne; I feel the throne shot best captured the character's composure. Red ambient lighting was used to make the contrast between red and black richer and to highlight the pleat details of the skirt. The prop sword was quite heavy, making balance tricky to master, but it added great tension to the poses. Throughout the session, we repeatedly adjusted the placement of the skirt and braids, and for the makeup, I specifically emphasized the depth of the eye makeup to capture the character's spirit. A lot of effort went into this Cosplay photoshoot from initial conception to post-editing, aiming to convey Phrolova's mysterious and elegant feel. As a cosplay enthusiast, bringing each character to life is both a challenge and a joy, and this attempt at a Gothic style cosplay was truly satisfying.
