This time, Nero's cosplay photoshoot adopted the styling of a white light tulle long dress. Considering that Nero's original classic image in the Fate series is mostly red dresses, this time a bold subtraction was made in the clothing color, turning instead to the color blocking of pure white and a golden waist corset to highlight the visual focus. Both the skirt hem and cuffs adopt a lightweight translucent tulle fabric, while the deep V on the front chest and the golden ring patchwork design on the shoulders add a touch of feminine softness and sensuality while retaining a classic feel. The wig chose a golden-yellow style with an ahoge design, and the iconic large red bow was embellished near the ear. In terms of makeup, green contact lenses paired with golden hair and red lips strengthened the character's recognizability, and the red blush also added a healthy complexion.
The shooting scene was arranged on a dark imperial concubine daybed with intricate wood carvings, surrounded by a large area of blue and white artificial flower bouquets. The heavy feel of the dark solid wood formed a strong material contrast with the ethereal feel of the tulle. To achieve the ideal visual effect, we used soft natural light throughout the process. The light passed through the flowers and the tulle, presenting a nearly transparent texture. Since no stockings were worn, appearing barefoot became the best way to showcase the leg lines. However, the poses on the daybed were not easy to strike, especially the side-lying or leg-raising actions, which required continuous core engagement to maintain the body's extension while also taking into account the draping feel of the tulle to avoid wrinkle accumulation. When guiding the emotion, photographer Maiya suggested that I shouldn't make too many exaggerated expressions, but try to maintain a relaxed and lazy state. For example, resting a hand on the shoulder or gently playing with hair, with the gaze following the light. In the side-lying frame, the legs were bent and crossed, which not only showed the visual effect of the legs, but also brought out a hint of inadvertent sensuality. When sitting cross-legged on the daybed, hands were naturally crossed in front of the knees, and the blue flowers served as the foreground, adding another layer of depth to the image.
The highlight of this styling lies in the application of the golden waist corset, which very clearly defines the waistline while concentrating the visual center of gravity on the curves of the chest and waist. Although the wide lantern sleeves increased the spatial sense of the dress, they tended to slip down when raising hands, so I would repeatedly adjust the clothes during shooting breaks to ensure that every angle could showcase the best state. The color tone of the whole photoshoot leans towards cool colors, forming a great complement with the warm-toned skin and hair color. Being able to challenge such a non-classic color scheme Nero styling is also a very special experience, and I hope to convey this feeling.
