The moment I received this Genshin Impact Vodyanitsa costume, the sheer weight of its intricate craftsmanship was immediately evident. To make both dressing and shooting manageable, I refined the dressing sequence through multiple iterations: slipping into the base dark-blue striped underskirt first, securing the middle white pleated tulle skirt, and finally smoothing out the outermost sheer layer. The dress is exceptionally voluminous, requiring careful attention when sitting down—each tier of the skirt had to be spread out layer by layer to capture that weightless, cascading drape across the bamboo daybed. The silver and blue metallic ornaments across the bust needed precise alignment with the white choker to prevent shifting during posing.

For the wig, I went with a blue-green long straight style featuring layered tips. Because white floral pieces, feathers, and dangling pearl strands had to be clipped onto both sides of the crown, anchoring the wig securely was paramount. I used several bobby pins and hairspray to ensure the accessories remained rock-solid even during broader gestures. In terms of makeup, matching the hair, I chose vivid blue colored contacts, applying a base of light blue and white eyeshadow finished with defined eyeliner to maintain crisp three-dimensional facial contours under the lighting.

The set was styled with a bamboo daybed, calligraphy-printed sheer drapes, and crimson maples, with sunlight diffusing gently through the white gauze onto my silhouette. To accentuate the billowing gown and leg lines, I explored several seated poses. In Photo 1, pointing both hands toward the camera with crossed legs created leading lines that heightened viewer interactivity, while the crossed legs elegantly displayed the high heels and pearl ankle chains. Photo 2 featured resting my chin on the back of my hand with the left hand resting naturally against the gown—a relaxed posture that accentuated the luxurious folds of the oversized white sleeves. Photo 3 captured both hands raised upward to fan out the dress hemline into an expansive, outward silhouette. In Photo 4, clasping hands before me while leaning slightly forward conveyed a quiet, serene demeanor.

During the actual shoot, the silver strappy high-heeled sandals harmonized impeccably with the blue and white palette. The pearl chains around my ankles caught specular reflections that shifted with each leg movement—a subtle accent intentionally preserved during close-up shots. To prevent wardrobe malfunctions, I wore safety shorts underneath while continuously adjusting the internal petticoat angle according to each seated position to avoid awkward bulging at the edges. Despite its numerous tiers, the textile itself is delightfully lightweight, sparing me any suffocating heaviness while wearing it.

Reflecting on the entire shoot, I am thoroughly satisfied with this Vodyanitsa styling; from the tailored garment accents to the scenic composition, every element delivered the visual impact I envisioned.
