Today, this set of Wuthering Waves Chisa night official photos is finally out. Actually, when shooting this set to fit the scene atmosphere, we put a lot of thought into the costume and props. This dark blue sailor suit features a cropped design, just revealing the waistline, paired with a red tie and a matching pleated skirt, making it very recognizable. To increase character details, I deliberately applied a cross tattoo sticker on my arm, matched a black choker on my neck, and hung a work-badge-style decoration at the waist. Of course, the most eye-catching part is still the huge red, black, and gold weapon prop in hand. The size of this sword is very exaggerated, with complex hollowed-out structures and white tassels on it, feeling quite heavy in hand. To hold it steady in front of the lens and strike natural poses, I repeatedly adjusted the exertion points for holding the sword; this is definitely physical work.

The shooting location for this time was chosen in an area with a strong industrial style. The metal stairs at night, blue guardrails, and orange heavy machinery, set against alternating red and blue lighting, presented a cold yet psychedelic cyberpunk atmosphere. This kind of high-contrast night scene environment is a huge test for image quality. To capture the best light and shadow, we used the GFX100S body, paired with Sigma 40mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4 lenses. The latitude of the medium format camera performed extremely well in this mixed red and blue light environment. The 40mm focal length can well accommodate the industrial-style background, while the 85mm focal length used for half-body and close-up shots provides very soft background bokeh, completely preserving the character's skin texture and the surface texture of the props. The high ISO performance and image purity under low-light night scenes pleasantly surprised me.

In action design, to match this giant weapon and the character's temperament, I tried many poses with dynamic tension. For example, lifting one leg on the stairs, coupled with a gesture pointing at the lens, broke the dullness of the frame. When sitting on the orange machine looking down at the lens, the draping feel of the skirt hem paired with black over-the-knee socks and glossy small leather shoes formed a complete visual guideline under the cutting of red and blue light and shadow. The character Chisa has a calm yet slightly dangerous aura, so in expression management, I tried to put away my smile as much as possible, keeping the gaze aloof and sharp. When a breeze blew, the moment the wig and ribbons fluttered was also captured by the lens.

In terms of makeup and wig styling, straight blunt bangs and long black hair are standard, paired with red contact lenses and red lips, greatly enhancing the visual impact of the frame. The eye makeup doesn't need to be overly complicated; the focus is on elongating the eye shape to highlight the fierce feeling of the gaze. We kept adjusting the lighting position on site, using photographic lights and on-site ambient light to balance, making the face three-dimensional without getting disconnected from the background. Throughout the shooting process from preparation to end, although it was hard work, seeing these finished photos, the sense of accomplishment of perfectly presenting the image in my mind is irreplaceable. The light and shadow details, costume texture, and prop restoration of every single photo met my expectations; it was a deeply gratifying shooting experience.
