Vivian's attire centers predominantly on black leather, embellished with silver metallic studs and vivid violet accents. When shooting outdoors at night, managing specular glare on leather fabrics is notoriously challenging. During takes, our lighting technician meticulously calibrated side fill-light angles, carving out the garment's silhouette while preventing broad highlight blowouts. To embody the character's enigmatic aura, makeup prioritized intense eye shading, which harmonized with the lavender wig and custom pointed elf ears to deliver striking facial chiaroscuro on camera.
Regarding props, the black staff and purple-and-black umbrella served as vital visual anchors for the overall balance. Unfurling the umbrella revealed interior butterfly illustrations that echoed the black coat. The venue featured a towering industrial steel framework and a paved promenade; this architectural grit combined with nocturnal shadows resonated seamlessly with her dark gothic disposition. Given the ambient light complexity and low clearance signs overhead, each blocking step and movement path was mapped out in advance to prevent prop collisions.
