Choosing to go to the anime convention in this bard attire was actually a whim. Wearing the overall white-and-blue color scheme paired with custom lightweight wings created a wonderfully ethereal lightness when walking around the venue. Regarding props, the lyre and floating starburst decorations on both sides were truly central to character fidelity, with metallic paint textures complementing cyan gems perfectly. In particular, the strings on the lyre were very realistic; holding it while pretending to play made my entire demeanor feel calm and centered.
The midriff-exposing costume design and gradient blue-and-white streamers at the hem turned out exceptionally well under the convention hall's bright lights. We experimented with various poses during the shoot—for example, sitting on a folding chair with eyes closed while plucking the lyre felt quiet and serene; standing with arms outstretched while holding floating rings alongside white wings flaring sideways fully embodied the character's freedom and easygoing spirit. In fact, natural light inside the hall was much stronger than expected, but backlit shots surprisingly filtered through wing feathers and hair strands, reflecting a soft light as if blown by the wind. Of course, character detail recreation—including geometric totem tattoos on abdomen and legs, as well as this White tights cosplay styling paired with matching sandals—made the overall look feel complete.
Finding the right light was crucial when taking this photo set, and light reflections from the hall's polished floor provided a huge boost. The hardest part of Convention photos isn't pulling off poses, but using lens focal length and depth of field to clean up shot framing within a crowded, chaotic public space with messy lighting. Supported by lightweight wings, the dynamic motion of streamers flowed naturally when spinning or tilting my head slightly. While organizing this set of photos, my personal favorite is the standing shot holding the lyre; it showcases hair, makeup, and intricate details while the posture strongly conveys an Anemo Archon vibe. Convention atmospheres always trigger plenty of creative inspiration, letting me experience how character elements merge into real-world light and shadow. Although pure Cosplay photography creation is tiring, seeing final results makes all the effort worthwhile. I hope these photos capture and preserve that fleeting pause of the breeze.
