Putting on Klee's red hat, attaching the elf ears, and hugging this fluffy Dodoco plush tightly, today I am the Spark Knight of the Knights of Favonius ready to go fish-blasting all over Mondstadt! This set of official Klee Cosplay photos from Genshin Impact is finally organized. I did a lot of homework before shooting, wanting to recreate this bouncy little cutie in a more three-dimensional way.

First, let's talk about the outfit. The red beret paired with the golden four-leaf clover badge perfectly recreates the childish charm in the setting. The white feather with a small gold bell jingles pleasantly with the slightest movement, adding many delightful surprises during the shoot. To look natural, I chose a light blonde straight wig with layered bangs. For the red contact lenses, I specifically chose a vibrant and translucent pair, making the clarity in my eyes stand out even more on camera. The skin-fit elf ears didn't feel out of place under warm indoor lighting; instead, they gave the whole look a more vibrant anime appeal.

The red-and-white jacket and the brown-trimmed scarf are the soul of this cosplay outfit. The white ruffled layers at the skirt hem retain fluffiness while making it easy to sit or lean anywhere in the scene. The brown gloves are super practical—when hugging the plush or holding onto the swing rope, the detailed texture of gripping instantly comes through. As for the brown boots, the white patching at the top of the boot legs and the black toe stitching are quite detailed, harmonizing perfectly with the overall warm red, white, and brown palette. White stockings paired with the outfit complete the classic look. For this shoot, I also brought a small black leather bag, which carried or worn over the shoulder didn't feel cumbersome at all, while enriching the overall layering of the upper body.

The entire shooting process was very enjoyable, and together with the photographer, we prepared several scenes with different flavors. The first scene was in a Japanese tatami room, where the cherry blossom branches, Japanese shoji doors, and warm yellow floor paper lanterns created a charming contrast with Klee's outfit. Under this cozy, warm light, sitting on the tatami while holding the round-faced Dodoco plush wrapped in its red pouch felt remarkably relaxing. The second scene shifted to a more retro courtyard corridor with a wooden swing, hanging calligraphy scrolls, and textured bamboo flower vases. Using the swing, we captured several dynamic shots where holding the round red plush Dodoco prop—whether rested on the rope or placed beside my legs—provided a strong presence that filled up the composition nicely.

The third scene was set in a wooden floor area bathed in sunlight filtering through bamboo blinds, leaning against a rustic solid wood bench with a large yellow vessel in the background, resembling a corner of an antique inn or tea house. Such a lively, everyday environment fitted Klee's persona even better—not an aloof deity, but a living, breathing little girl existing on the continent of Teyvat. The makeup artist gave me very clean base makeup and light blush, which, paired with the soft natural light, completely freed the atmosphere from stiff posing, making it look like Klee genuinely ran off to play outside a tea house in Liyue on a sunny afternoon.

The most intriguing part of Klee's character lies in her innocent yet slightly mischievous nature. Therefore, in front of the camera, I avoided mature poses as much as possible, focusing instead on hugging the plush, looking down while fidgeting with the outfit edges, or relaxing on the swing with my toes pointed. Since the costume's color saturation was already sufficiently high, the photography and post-processing didn't involve complex color grading, just fine-tuning light and shadow to retain the authentic texture of skin and clothing. Putting together this Genshin Impact cosplay shoot made with so much care feels like a heartfelt tribute to this lively and adorable character.
