Wrapped up this Sailor suit cosplay set outside the convention along the riverside next to the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Pazhou. Shooting outside the convention actually yields fantastic shots—the heavy foot traffic creates an authentic, lively campus atmosphere. Today, I wore a classic white sailor top with a dark blue collar and a vivid red necktie, paired with a dark blue pleated skirt, white high socks, and half-rim glasses for a clean, refreshing Japanese fashion style. We started shooting around 4:00 PM when the sunlight turned soft, casting a gorgeous summer glow across the grass. To beat Guangzhou's intense midsummer heat, we walked out through the B1 floor of the Poly Center, exiting from Pazhou Station Exit C and navigating toward the riverside near Agricultural Bank. The greenery here offers lovely transparent lighting, providing much more freedom than the crowded halls inside. I brought a bottle of mineral water as a prop, which kept me hydrated while giving me a natural posing option. For meals, the nearby FamilyMart and McDonald's are super convenient, or you can walk about ten minutes to Six Elements for a sit-down meal. As a cosplayer frequently surrounded by photographers, I'm usually more than happy to pose, but if I'm eating or touching up makeup, I kindly ask everyone to wait a moment rather than taking candid shots during downtime. Also, security guards occasionally clear the riverside area, so simply shifting positions slightly works fine. Hope these Convention photos and tips from outside Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo help everyone plan their outdoor shoots and heat-prevention strategies!
