On this day at the Guangzhou Ring Universe Anime & Game Carnival, I decided to wear this Lily Yan cosplay as the Dark Fairy, because this outfit matched the venue's architectural style so seamlessly. The massive tilted glass curtain walls in the hall rendered natural light exceptionally clear and translucent, while the ultra-high reflection mirror floor was particularly suited for capturing this dreamlike fairy-themed cosplay.

To restore the character's demeanor, I selected a light purple straight wig with blunt bangs, with cat-ear headpieces adding a magical, whimsical charm. The main costume consists of a magenta and black color-blocked miniskirt dress, with ruffled edges paired with detached sleeves on the arms creating rich visual layering. On the lower half, black fishnet stockings paired with platform purple ankle boots enhanced the Dark Fairy's cool yet youthful characteristics. The prop was a purple guitar featuring blue swirl patterns, functioning both as a weapon showcase and a visual anchor for balance in photos.

For this shoot, we focused heavily on using floor reflections; the mirror surface reflected the figure completely, forming a striking symmetrical composition. Poses like kneeling on one knee plucking guitar strings produced immense visual tension alongside the mirror reflection. Other poses, such as standing on one leg or leaning against the hallway side wall, allowed the skirt ruffles to spread naturally as my center of gravity shifted, while the fishnet tights and boot textures were captured in full by the wide-angle lens. A cool-toned deep blue color filter complemented the purple outfit palette, giving the overall composition a clean, unified aesthetic.

In a modern building with pronounced geometric lines, interacting with props while extending body lines effectively tests attention to detail. I specifically adjusted wrist and shoulder engagement to create angles between limbs and props. Since it was an active convention floor with many creators scouting angles nearby, the tall, spacious floor-to-ceiling window hallway allowed for composed framing. Standing for long periods in platform boots certainly demanded physical endurance, yet seeing the complete purple silhouette mirrored on the glass-like floor made the entire shooting process feel thoroughly worthwhile.

Beyond shooting photos, the venue environment offered an immersive experience; translucent glass and metal frames created deep visual extension through the wide-angle lens, providing fantastic light and shadow contrast straight out of the camera. Cosplaying this character allowed me to explore diverse poses—blending magical fairy elements with a musician's flair. These convention photos retain authentic emotions and spatial depth from the shoot; the visual juxtaposition of a magical fairy realm colliding with modern architecture was truly captivating, yielding a thoroughly satisfying overall experience and output rate.
