Today's set is an Endadministrator cosplay from Arknights: Endfield. Before shooting this series, I spent considerable time refining the trench coat's tailored fit. This outfit features complex multi-piece layering: an outer techwear long coat in black and grey color-blocking, accented with vibrant high-visibility yellow webbing around the collar and shoulders for contrast, layered over a white turtleneck knit sweater. To prevent the upper body from appearing overly bulky, I slightly altered the coat's shoulder seams—preserving its sharp, structured silhouette while preventing the fabric from pinching around the shoulders during dynamic movement.

The face mask is the heart and soul of this look. To ensure a snug fit along the contours of my face, I remolded the mask's inner lining using thermoplastic sheets, striking a balance between total facial concealment and adequate breathing space. The standout feature of this mask lies in its asymmetrical, geometric grey-and-black faceted cuts; under focused key lights, it reflects an intense, hard-edged metallic sheen, though wearing it for extended periods noticeably limits peripheral vision. During the shoot, I relied heavily on vocal cues from the crew to calibrate camera angles and eyelines.

The greatsword in my hands was crafted by our prop maker using a composite of high-density EVA foam and balsa wood, coated in a brushed metallic finish. The hilt and crossguard feature a crisp tri-color scheme of black, silver, and industrial yellow. While the blade looks massive and heavy, the internal counterbalancing was executed with remarkable poise. Striking poses with the sword required mastering specific leverage points; for instance, in the low-crouch shot—holding the hilt with my left hand while resting my right palm along the blade flat—my core strength was severely tested, as any slight shift in center of gravity would cause the weapon to tilt visibly.

For the lower half, I opted for black pantyhose (Black stockings), paired with black chunky platform oxfords and sneakers. The matte texture of the Black stockings stood in stark contrast to the utilitarian techwear textiles of the coat, and against the pure white cyclorama wall, the sharp black silhouette popped with immense graphic clarity. To accentuate the elongated leg lines on camera, we incorporated dynamic postures like a single-leg raised-knee balance and a single-knee ground plant. Shooting in Black stockings always carries the risk of snagging, so I was especially mindful during every repositioning.

Because the entire shoot was staged against a pure white cyc without environmental clutter, every bodily posture and garment detail had to carry sufficient visual volume. To evoke that cold, enigmatic, and perilous sci-fi atmosphere, I adjusted the tilt of the mask, ensuring my gaze cut sharply through the visor's slit.

The tactile layering across this look is extraordinarily pronounced, presenting a clash of materials from head to toe and inside out. The knit weave of the sweater, the water-resistant coating of the trench coat, the rigid molded plastic of the mask, and the sheer texture of the hosiery along the legs were all resolved crisply under studio strobes. The industrial, mechanical edge of the weaponry combined seamlessly with the tactical techwear aesthetics, giving the Endadministrator an unmistakable visual identity.

Throughout the session, I continuously adjusted the fabric drape and utility belt positioning, since the soul of techwear resides in the deliberate arrangement of straps, zippers, and tactical pockets. A functional garment must not only look compelling on camera, but also allow fluid, unhindered motion. To convey the perceived mass of the weapon, I focused on flexing muscle tension and directing the billowing hemline of the coat, leveraging fabric tension to inject cinematic kinetic energy into each frame. In post-production, subtle cool-toned grading was introduced to unify the futuristic sci-fi ambiance.
