[Tanikaze Amane cosplay] Uniform Styling of This Bratty Girl from Angel Beats!

Today's shoot features Tanikaze Amane from YUZU SOFT's title Angel Beats!. This character's concept is remarkably entertaining: on the surface she's a well-behaved student, but embodying her 'zako onii-chan' and cheeky brat persona required lots of detailed nuances in expression and posture. The attire follows a classic school uniform style, yet features distinct design choices. The top is an essential short-sleeved white shirt paired with a yellow striped necktie, which echoes the character's hair color to establish visual balance. To highlight her cheeky charm and subtle rebellious streak, black suspenders clipped onto the skirt were added over the shirt, bringing layered depth through their vertical drape.

The lower half is a deep purple high-waisted pleated skirt falling around mid-thigh, trimmed with delicate black lace along the hemline to add refinement and eliminate monotony. Paired with black stockings over the knee, this visual setup elongates leg proportions and reveals a peek of the thigh edge—the classic absolute territory—flawlessly matching her mischievous, little-devil aura. For her hair, I wore a shoulder-length straight pink wig trimmed with blunt bangs, crowned with a headband bearing black geometric motifs.

During the shoot, to capture Amane's slightly provocative yet adorable demeanor, I explored poses touching my chin and gently lifting my skirt hem. The movements couldn't look stiff; lifting the hem required relaxed wrists so the photos looked organic while hinting at her personality. Because the character is a bratty girl (mesugaki), the facial expressions and body language had to balance mischievous teasing without becoming genuinely obnoxious. The session was conducted indoors facing a mirror, allowing direct postural adjustments via the reflection. While mirror shots can be limited by ambient light and tight spacing, the clean lines of the wardrobe closet background helped concentrate visual focus onto the outfit and posing. Leaning forward slightly with bent knees dynamicized the body's overall contours.
