[Komeiji Satori cosplay] Perceived Heart, A Tranquil Afternoon Belonging to Satori

For this Touhou Project Komeiji Satori cosplay outfit, every single detail was carefully considered during shooting—from the blue-and-white checkered off-shoulder dress to the red eyeball prop held in hand. The pink short hair wig was fine-tuned and combined with the white lace headband on top, adding a sense of lightness to the overall look.

The main costume features a two-piece spliced design reminiscent of Lolita fashion. The upper body's blue-and-white thin-striped off-shoulder style includes abundant ruffles and lace embellishments, with sleeve and neckline decorations beautifully framing the shoulder and neck lines. The lower half consists of a fluffy layered skirt combining white and light pink mesh yarn; when sitting down, the visual volume is remarkably full. Coupled with long yellow-green woven flower cord knots, it fuses maidenly charm with Yandere-like fantasy elements quite effectively.

In terms of prop selection, that red third-eye plushie was definitely the core highlight of this styling. Along with the pink strawberry-shaped object held in hand, it created a sharp visual contrast within the overall fresh tone, aligning well with the character's thematic setting. During the shoot, the photographer deliberately directed a bright ray of light from the window side, placing me on a pure white sofa facing directly into the backlighting; the faint stray hair texture illuminated along the edges by sunlight unexpectedly enhanced the frame's softness.

Upon receiving the pink wig, I personally trimmed the length of the bangs again so they wouldn't look too heavy, leaving the hair at the sides intentionally longer to frame the face slightly. To maintain even color distribution, the texture turned out even more evident when illuminated under the studio lights.

During the shoot, I actually experimented with two different states: one closing my eyes to feel the light, and the other opening my eyes to smile naturally at the camera. However, I personally prefer the full-body photo set. The pose was less forced—legs naturally crossed, with pink plush slippers on my feet paired with white short socks, appearing quite casual and easygoing within the clean, bright composition.

For facial makeup, I intentionally reduced eyeshadow colors, focusing instead on the clarity of the base makeup and brightening lip color, because the wig color was already eye-catching enough; heavier makeup would have looked out of place. Matching the overall lazy atmosphere, I avoided overly exaggerated expressions; maintaining a natural, relaxed feel was the keynote this set aimed to present.

Numerous real purple-and-white flowers were arranged around the set. The pure white sofa, transparent natural light in the background, and meticulously placed greenery gave the environment a tranquil feel reminiscent of a greenhouse flower room. Sorting through these photos, I found that the advantage of backlighting lies in hiding minor background clutter, allowing the overall Dreamy photography feel to be even richer.

The weather on the shooting day was actually wonderful. The feeling of sunlight filtering through curtains made one relax involuntarily. The white sofa served as an exceptionally versatile background, never detracting from the subject while accommodating props of various colors.

To recreate the details of this look, I put a lot of thought into choosing fabrics and decorative accessories. Options like the lace trim matching on the skirt hem and the translucent pink accessory on the chest were selected to fit the character's original visual elements as closely as possible. The overall shooting experience was very comfortable, and chemistry with the photographer was built quickly; this photo set can be considered one of my better recent works.

Regarding the color tone of this photo set, in post-processing we mainly removed noise colors from the environment, retaining white, pink, light blue, and plant greenery to make the frame look cleaner and clearer. The red eye prop in hand preserved its original hue even within such a soft palette. The theme this time leaned more towards a quiet sense of awareness rather than intense emotional expression, so both facial expressions and movements were kept restrained, concentrating attention on showcasing the texture of the Anime cosplay costume itself.
