Cosplaying Komeiji Koishi's rose idol concept this time, the overall style retains the distinctive essence of Touhou Project while infusing a dark-sweet aesthetic woven with punk and vintage flair.

Starting from the head, trimming this bright green short wig required immense patience—especially that signature ahoge on the right side, which took repeated adjustments with styling wax and hairspray to achieve a natural perk and stay in place. To accommodate the hat, the wig was thinned out overall to prevent the head from looking bulky. The headwear features a black mini top hat with lace trim, accented on the side with yellow satin ribbons and a black bow, which perfectly rests over the crown of the wig and enhances layering. For makeup, bright green contact lenses were chosen to align with the character's traits; a cut-crease eyeshadow technique elongated the eye shape, complemented by thickened lower lashes and prominent pink blush to create an otherworldly doll-like feel. Soft, light-toned lip gloss kept the visual focus centered on the eyes and the vivid color contrasts.

The layers of the outfit are exceptionally rich. The inner base is a vibrant yellow short-sleeved top spliced with black ruffled trim along the collar and shoulders, creating a striking yellow-and-black color block. Across the chest is a teardrop-shaped cutout accented by a black lace necklace featuring a green rhombic gem. Multiple purple leather harnesses and belts wrap around the torso—these harness elements not only contour body proportions but also intensify the tactical, functional edge of the garment. The bottom consists of a textured dark-green miniskirt with wavy pleats; to boost volume, a black petticoat was layered underneath. A purple metallic choker was worn around the neck, harmonizing with the color of the leather straps.

Regarding props, this silver vintage microphone serves as the crowning touch of the ensemble, tied with an oversized purple satin bow along the handle. It feels substantial in hand and provides versatile posing support during the shoot. The legs are styled with over-the-knee Black stockings and chain-embellished leg warmers; the metallic chains and buckles on the right leg add intricate detail. On the feet, chunky black platform shoes not only elongate the leg lines but also lend a taller, more poised stance.

During mirror selfies, I experimented with various poses to display the styling. In a standing stance, placing one foot forward and one back effectively exhibited the skirt's A-line silhouette and the leg gear. Seated poses were meant to accentuate thigh contours and the chunky volume of the platform shoes, holding the mic in one hand while resting the other naturally across the lap for a compact composition. Even with just a simple white wall backdrop, this clean background made the high-saturation garment colors pop even more vividly. Embodying this design requires thoughtful interpretation of character aura, coordinating subtle micro-expressions and body language with the punk undertones of the costume. I hope this photo set lets everyone experience the unique stage charm of the rose idol.
