The finished set of Serika's swimsuit cosplay is still in post-processing, so I'm releasing these behind-the-scenes photos first to tide you over. The theme this time is a summer beach. I prepared this black-and-white ruffled swimsuit myself, pairing it with her iconic long blue hair and cat ears, as well as the pink halo prop on top of her head. I'm personally quite satisfied with the accuracy of this Anime recreation.

During the shoot, we specially set up an indoor pool scene featuring a floor with water ripple reflections, along with an inflatable swim ring, watermelons, and beach chairs, maxing out the atmosphere. Actually, shooting underwater or waterside scenes is the ultimate test of reflector angles; because there is water on the ground, light bounces everywhere, requiring constant adjustments to the lighting positions to avoid weird hot spots or highlight patches on the face.

The three behind-the-scenes photos capture a sitting, lying down, and standing pose respectively. Although they are just sneak peeks, I seriously adjusted my body movements for every single one, trying to capture that tsundere yet slightly dense and cute vibe of Serika. The third pose standing on one leg was actually quite a test of balance, and I almost slipped. While the ruffled design of the outfit is cute, I had to be extra careful to avoid wardrobe malfunctions when bending over or walking around, so the shooting pace was quite slow, and everyone was very patient.

This cosplay actually has a lot of accessories; besides the wig and ears, the tail was also specially custom-made. To prevent the tail from getting submerged and wet during the shoot, it had to be repositioned every time I changed poses. Although the behind-the-scenes shots look relatively casual, they are already the result of multiple adjustments. I hope everyone likes this summer version of Serika. The finished set will have a more complete sense of narrative and more light and shadow details. I will edit them as fast as possible, so please give me a little more time.
