[Jeanne d'Arc (Alter) Cosplay] A Quiet Drink Before Fate/Grand Order's Final Chapter: Experiencing the Charm of Drunken Jalter at the Bar

When taking this set of photos in front of the bar counter, the game's story progress prompts were actually constantly floating in my mind. As a player who has been grinding all the way from Chaldea, seeing the news of the final chapter indeed brings mixed feelings.

This time, I chose this purple-toned Drunken Jalter look for Jeanne d'Arc (Alter). The overall presentation concept was to bring a bit of tsundere disdain within a slightly tipsy atmosphere. The purple satin long dress has an excellent drape; the high slit combined with matching tights and long gloves perfectly showcases the leg lines under the warm bar lighting, which was what I found most eye-catching during initial preparations.

In terms of the coordination of makeup and headpieces, the depth of the eye sockets was intentionally enhanced. The purple mask and the tear-stain decorations on both cheeks accurately restore the iconic elements of the setting. Paired with slightly messy long white hair, it creates a casual yet stubborn, agile temperament. The various wine bottle props next to the bar counter and the warm orange background lights behind are a perfect match; when the light hits the skin and skirt hem, the satin texture and semi-matte fabric contours are beautifully expressed.

To find the most comfortable poses, the photographer and I tried many different angles during the shoot. From initially sitting sideways on the leather bar stool with crossed legs, to later lying directly on the bar counter with the skirt naturally fanned out, we did our best to amplify this lazy yet mysterious atmosphere. Especially under specific angles, the tights have a soft bright reflection, which, combined with hand movements like resting my chin, lightly pointing at the lens, or resting on the edge of the bar, makes the character's cold-outside-warm-inside, awkward emotions more vividly expressed.

In the community, everyone loves to joke about the "Orita-san" disgusted face meme. But actually, along this journey, encountering the support of fellow enthusiasts and the joy of shooting together has made every cosplay experience incredibly meaningful. During the shooting gaps, looking at the wine cabinet lighting up with warm glows in the background gives a wonderful immersion as if the character briefly exists in reality. Although the entire process tested my physical strength a bit, seeing the purple gorgeousness under the quiet environment in the final photos makes all the material selection, fitting, and on-site coordination feel absolutely worth it. Let's use this little set of frames freezing the tipsy vibe to properly record the unique charm presented by the character at this stage, serving as a special gift to myself who loves this character and experienced so many main storyline events together in this 2D universe.
