The 10.2 Xiamen ANE Cosplay convention photos are finally edited! A lot of thought went into this Kamisato Ayaka cosplay look, from preparation to the shoot. This time, I specifically chose to shoot in a studio with professional lighting instead of just a pure convention venue, because I wanted to fully present the character's cool and elegant temperament through light and shadow. The costume features a structured long dress weaving light blue and pure white together, with metal buckle ornaments at the collar and waist adding a sense of delicacy. The brown lace-up ankle boots are paired with white tights featuring pink cherry blossom patterns, preserving the classical charm of Genshin Impact in the details. The woven straw hat adorned with small white flowers is also a crowning touch, paired with woven silver twin-tails, giving it a rich sense of layering. For the eye makeup this time, I added subtle glitters on top of the blue colored contact lenses, hoping to look closer to Kamisato Ayaka's calm yet gentle gaze in front of the camera. The folding fan with a blue and black base in my hand is a custom prop, and the streamlined golden patterns on the fan surface shift under the light. To capture a natural and agile posture during the shoot, I tried many spinning on the spot and fan-waving movements. Combined with the post-processed simulated ice crystals bursting from the ground, fluttering snowflakes all around, and a few firefly-like light spots, it truly brought out the feeling of an ice and snow princess. Although light stands, softboxes, and busy staff members are still clearly visible in the background, it is precisely these real behind-the-scenes environments that create a special spark at the intersection of the fictional 2D world and the realistic 3D reality. The photographer's lighting was very meticulous; the top and side lights made the texture of the costume present itself more vividly. It's always a challenge to shoot Cryo characters because you have to constantly maintain that restrained, cool aura, but seeing the final results made me quite satisfied. I hope these photos can bring you a little bit of the icy breeze from Inazuma.
