This Arknights cosplay Two-person photo set, pairing Red hair with white hair, was a huge eye-catcher at the Anime convention. Let me share a few details about our styling. Prepping the Red hair wig took quite a while—thinning out the crown and inner hair and sculpting distinct layers with hair wax to make it look natural. For the eye makeup, I selected amber colored contacts and blended reddish tones along the lower eyelids, which, paired with the black leather jacket, created a special cute charm. The leather jacket has a structured silhouette, layered over a textured white inner top and metallic badges, requiring repeated checks to ensure all details were firmly in place. The white-haired styling also took considerable effort—the headpiece with black horns carried noticeable weight and had to be anchored beneath the wig using clips and adhesive, requiring breaks during long wear. The red colored contacts paired with long silver-white hair and a white lace-trimmed dress created a wonderful blend of cool aloofness and adorable softness. Standing together created a striking contrast—one delightfully cute and one sleekly cool—striking a visually balanced 2D dynamic.
Because the Anime convention was crowded during the shoot, we found a quiet corner. The low-angle perspective was dialed in after repeated tests, capturing the full horns on the head while slimming down facial contours. The convention lighting was tricky; to avoid glare, we used a grayish wall at the venue as a backdrop and adjusted our positioning under natural light. Shifting back and forth to find the right angle took time, but the finished results matched our expectations. Turning up at this Anime convention in these outfits definitely turned a lot of heads; people constantly asked which characters we were cosplaying, and upon confirming it was the Sarkaz big sister and angel baby duo from Arknights, everyone happily chatted about the game. Although it was hot and wearing complex props was tiring, cosplaying with a good friend and coordinating to create great photos is truly a rare and joyful experience.
