[Ganyu Cosplay] Wearing This Maid Outfit for the HEYTEA Collaboration: The Joy of Waiting for the Cheongsam to Ship

This time I wore a modified Maid outfit that I've loved since before the Ganyu collaboration. Paired with a light blue wig and signature black-and-red horned headpiece, the overall look maintains her cool, aloof vibe while adding a touch of maid-like lightness. The actual outfit fabric has a great texture in hand; the black lace stitching on the chest and gold badge details are very exquisite. The sheer tulle sleeves on the arms drape down with fantastic fluidity, especially the red tassel bell that sways gently as I move—holding a tray effortlessly gives off that dessert shop staff vibe. This time I paired it with black thigh-high socks and white high heels. The sky-blue ribbon at the top of the socks unifies with the outfit's color scheme, visually elongating my leg lines. Moreover, standing on one leg in high heels (Photo 4) actually tested my balance quite a bit, but the result looks very crisp and sleek. The photo lying on the carpet (Photo 1) used a blindfold/sleep mask; closing my eyes and relaxing gave a truer sense of sleepiness, creating a nice contrast with the neatness of the standing pose. This happened to coincide with the Genshin Impact and HEYTEA collaboration, so I ordered a Ganyu coconut milk drink—the flavor indeed carried a refreshingly sweet coconut aroma that fits the character wonderfully. Unfortunately, the cheongsam from the HEYTEA collaboration is still on its way. The tailoring and pattern shown in the promotional images look very attractive, and I can hardly wait to wear it for a photoshoot. I adjusted the camera angles and lighting for this costume multiple times. High-key soft lighting combined with white tulle and floral backdrops set off the light blue and white tones very cleanly. Since the fabric is light and thin, I took extra care during shooting to prevent accidental exposure, yet the overall silhouette still beautifully conveys her character temperament. As a cosplayer, I always consider a character's core elements when choosing outfits. This time, while preserving Ganyu's signature blue hair and horn accessories, daily-life adaptations were made—making it suitable for both indoor portraits and prop interactions. I hope that once the cheongsam arrives, I can maintain this natural and comfortable shooting rhythm for the next set.
