[Hatsune Miku cosplay] Chimelong Swimsuit Finale: Peak Summer Refreshing Vibes

Today I'm sharing the final set from the Chimelong swimsuit series. This Hatsune Miku swimsuit look took a lot of effort from prep to shooting. The outfit is a white halter-neck one-piece swimsuit featuring a red smiling flame print with English lettering across the chest, a teardrop-shaped cutout in the center, large cutouts on both sides of the waist, and a ruffled hem. To add layers to the look, I paired it with a black leather choker and white wristbands, opted for simple white flip-flops, and held a white long-handle umbrella as a shooting prop.

For hair and makeup, the signature style featured teal double buns combined with ultra-long twintails. I wore blue contact lenses matching the hair color, and the makeup emphasized blush and red lipstick to present a 2D-inspired, vibrant summer energy in front of the lens.

The shoot took place in the outdoor area of Chimelong during dusk. The background featured a bird's nest-shaped seat woven from straw, wrapped with a ring of blue LED string lights. Stepping on a yellow-and-black striped crate helped adjust the sitting height, making the leg lines look much better on camera.

During shooting, because the swimsuit has numerous cutout elements, it placed high demands on body extension and posture. To showcase the garment's details and body proportions, we tested many sitting variations, such as crossing my legs, raising one hand over my head, or holding the umbrella handle with both hands supported on my legs. While the blue string lights created great ambiance, the scattered light sources could easily cause facial color casts, so the photographer spent extensive time on fill lighting and angle adjustments. This set marks the final piece of last year's Chimelong swimsuit project; wrapping this shoot officially concluded that summer.

Overall, this swimsuit photo achieved the exact effect I hoped for in both outfit coordination and scene ambiance. Recently, I've started preparing this year's 2D swimsuit project, hoping to explore more styles and settings to bring everyone even better works this summer.
