For this Hsin cosplay, I poured a lot of thought into the finer details of the costume. Hsin's outfit modeling in Wuthering Waves is highly recognizable. When bringing it to life, to ensure visual fidelity, I selected a subtly lustrous satin fabric for the pale yellow top, underlaid with heavy black fabric to forge a striking visual contrast. The pairing of the red gemstone and black bow on the chest acts as the visual focal point; during assembly, I repeatedly checked its three-dimensional structure to prevent it from caving in during poses.

Styling the wig was another massive undertaking. The light-gold long curly hair not only needed to maintain bouncy volume, but also had to securely support those two massive plush animal ears on top. I intentionally trimmed and brushed the fur texture of the ears so that the white-base, black-tipped gradient looked exceptionally lifelike. In terms of makeup, besides coordinating gold and red contact lenses, the bright red floral forehead bindi was the crowning touch; to prevent smudging throughout the day, I layered setting spray and transfer-proof lip tint.

The set design on the shooting day was brimming with atmosphere. We constructed a Japanese-style wooden corridor with vivid red maples hanging in the background, paired with warm yellow paper lanterns and low-lying dry ice fog, instantly drawing me into character. To capture the multi-faceted nature of the Fox girl, I layered the pose design. In the first two sets, I wore gold strappy high-heeled sandals and reclined against the wooden floor, utilizing leg extension to lengthen overall proportions, exuding a touch of languid sensuality. As the shoot progressed, to evoke a guard-down, intimate feeling, I went barefoot. Sitting cross-legged on the floor, toes naturally relaxed, gently brushing the ears or cupping my chin, my gaze transitioned from looking directly into the lens to a slightly dreamy stare.

The on-site lighting and shadows were the most pleasant surprise of this Japanese-style photoshoot. The warm light from the lanterns cast from the side and back at an angle not only accentuated the airy lightness of the sheer hem, but also imparted a soft highlight across the golden hair strands and metallic shoulder armor. In one shot, mottled shadows fell right across my cheek and collarbone; that dance of light and shadow vastly elevated the image texture. To achieve satisfying framing, I continuously adjusted my seated postures, keeping fabric folds natural while ensuring the red maples and prop paper umbrella didn't obscure my face. Although the process required constant core engagement and leg tension, seeing that fox-like coexistence of cunning and elegance in the final frames made all fatigue dissolve away. This Anime cosplay was a deeply enjoyable experience for me, and I hope everyone can feel this tactile quality.
