Choreography with 11 distinct parts for 11 dancers was exhausting—we practically poured our souls into rehearsals. Tackling this debut Group dance cover proved far more demanding than anticipated. Grinding daily in the studio to align every eight-count meant memorizing intricate formations; a single misstep meant starting over, leaving our knees and backs aching after rapid tempo runs.
Wardrobe discussions were extensive to prevent mismatched shades of crimson, eventually uniting under this deep Gothic Lolita design. Layered Red lace, ruffled hems, red floral crowns, matching crimson stockings, and retro leather shoes captured a dark romantic mood. Staged inside a classic hall with arched windows and checkerboard flooring echoing Church photography atmospheres, purple-crimson ambient lights paired with pale porcelain bases, diffused crimson blush, and light contact lenses for a hollow doll-like gaze. Maintaining rigid, doll-like poses on set was physically taxing, but Polaroid test shots and final group frames made every bit of intense preparation completely worthwhile.
