When putting on Sparkle's makeup and costume to shoot this Honkai: Star Rail photography work, I kept thinking about how to recreate that denpa-like feeling between virtuality and reality in a real-world environment. This time, the costume adopts a red and white color-blocking scheme with touches of black lace and metal buckles as embellishments, looking both devilishly playful and exquisite. To restore the character's iconic white twin-tails, a massive amount of trimming and braiding was done to the wig. The red and white braids wrapped around the top of the head, paired with the mini top hat and rabbit-ear hair accessories, mean a lot of effort went into the texture. For the eye makeup, I intentionally enhanced the red and pink tones; the subtle red blending at the outer corners of the eyes and the small decorations underneath give the whole face a dreamlike, out-of-focus look in front of the lens.

During the shooting process, the photographer "Chao Fang Bian Mian" paid great attention to capturing dynamic emotions, such as the wandering of the gaze or the moment of leaning in to whisper, which perfectly matches that sense of effortless confidence in the character's setting. In post-production, we leaned the entire visual system towards a Cyber Glitch Style, overlaying various glitched ERROR pop-ups and classic pixel cursors. Especially with the addition of the black and white little rabbits jumping around the glitched screen, it feels as if they are the core guides constructing Planarcadia. Shifting between different shot sizes also brought unique experiences—close-ups preserved emotional details, while medium shots could better display the structural beauty of the entire outfit.

Honestly, during the process of doing cosplay, the happiest moment is often seeing the character in the final photos, as if truly breaking through the barrier of the screen and feeling the exact same frequency as the character.
