This time, I have successively completed several sets of TFP photoshoots in different styles across both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Ranging from dark elves to daily school uniforms and heavy combat styles, each set involved advance theme planning and prop preparation, incorporating Hong Kong cosplay elements. The shooting equipment used was the Sony A7M4 paired with a 35mm f/1.4 lens, along with three flashes and a stabilizer. The on-site lighting setup aimed to highlight the three-dimensionality of the facial features and the catchlights in the eyes while preserving the ambient feel of the environment.

Most were outdoor shoots; I had scouted locations like rooftops, street corners, and exhibition halls. When encountering good light, I'd snap a few more shots, while on cloudy days, flashes were used to fill in the mood. Regarding the collaboration workflow, raw files are provided within 1 to 2 days, color grading takes 2 to 5 days, and I will handle 6 to 9 fully retouched photos. The remaining facial retouching is left to the models themselves, keeping the overall pace controllable.

I lean toward cute, youthful, aesthetic, and energetic visual directions, but I don't reject other styles either. For example, I tried a darker, cinematic set this time and found that as long as the light and shadow are controlled well, the texture and portrait photography quality elevates. I am currently learning video shooting and hope to try dynamic recording in the future. Before each shoot, I discuss ideas with the model; costumes and makeup are prepared by each party, and paid venues are split 50/50, making it quite relaxed and free. A TFP photoshoot is all about mutual fulfillment. I am still growing, and any shortcomings during the process will be communicated and adjusted in time. I hope future collaborations can continue to produce more fun works in Shenzhen photography and Anime-style photography.
