The Convention photos from Zhongshan AS25 are finally organized, thanks to NightDiva for capturing these shutter moments. Venue lighting was quite complex on the shooting day, but the photographer made great use of ceiling lights and ambient reflections to showcase the texture of this black-white-pink color-block outfit. What matters most in this look is layering: the fluffiness of the outer pink plush jacket contrasts with the firm black leather skirt inside, combined with asymmetrical over-the-knee socks and leg rings for a cleaner visual effect. To present this jumping action, we repeatedly adjusted angles and takeoff timing; the first attempt actually lost center gravity, but later we found that comfortable sense of mid-air suspension.
The photo sitting on the ladder was meant to show a more lazy, relaxed state, though crouching and sitting poses place high demands on hand positioning. This Beast-ear girl cosplay wig's two-tone highlights paired with ears look super photogenic, and the heterochromia makeup took quite some effort to give her gaze more storytelling presence in Anime-style photography. Every time I cosplay a slightly rebellious yet cute style like this in Cosplay daily life, I seek tense physical postures such as standing on one leg or forming finger hearts so the frame doesn't look dull. Although many people were shooting nearby at the venue, the photographer controlled the rhythm exceptionally well with high snapshot efficiency, largely undisturbed.
Post-processing was not overdone, preserving skin's realistic texture and outfit sheen, which I really appreciate. During fitting earlier I worried the thick pink jacket would look bulky, but wearing it with sleeve straps and ribbons actually created a flowing feel. There was a small episode during shooting: the jacket's plush easily attracted dust and many cables lay on the ground, so after every jump I had to check if anything stuck onto it. Getting good shots in a convention environment isn't easy, but seeing those dynamic moments in finished photos made all the effort feel completely worth it. Especially the fourth jumping photo—my body stretch in mid-air was just right and the skirt flutter angle looked very natural, making it my favorite shot. Also, the sixth photo sitting on the ground making a heart gesture used the jacket placed nearby as background to create a relaxed, casual vibe. Overall, the shooting pace was fast with a high yield rate; I'm super happy to leave such a vibrant photo set at the convention. Participating in events like this deepens my love for this community every time, and I hope to try more similar style interpretations in the future.
