This set of photos for my Sakura Matou cosplay was taken along the riverside walkway during the evening. At that time, the sky was just in the transition period around sunset, and the natural light created a very deep purple-blue atmosphere. Paired with this pure white dress and the purple bob-style wig, the overall visual feel was much more fitting than expected. The saying "the three elements of portrait photography never lie" mentioned in the post description was clearly reflected in this TFP photoshoot. The layers of light and shadow usually depend on the control of the shooting time and the choice of environment; that translucent feel is not something that can be achieved simply by piling up post-processing effects.

In terms of early styling, focus was placed on handling the smoothness of the wig and the fixed position of the red ribbon behind the head. The straight bangs and the curvature of the sideburns are key to restoring the character's temperament, and details were continuously adjusted to cooperate with the wind during the shoot. The red ribbon played an excellent brightening role against the white dress and dark background, allowing the visual focus to naturally fall on the upper body of the figure. The wind by the river was actually quite strong. To snap the moment when the skirt hem lifted, many photos were taken back and forth, and ultimately at the moment the shutter was pressed, it happened to capture that elegant and lightweight form. The small white flower in my hand was casually picked up from the roadside; holding it just relieved the stiffness of not knowing where to put my fingers when posing. This kind of natural prop intervention often looks more vivid than a deliberate arrangement.

During the shooting process, we also intentionally tried a set of atmospheric photos after nightfall, using a hard flash paired with a highly contrasting black background and abstract lines to present an oppressive feeling completely different from the natural light environment. The purpose was to enrich the temperament contrast of the entire photoset. The entire photoset balances wide-angle depth of field with local half-body close-ups. The composition basically maintains the visual stability of the figure at the center of the frame, and utilizes the rule of thirds to let the distant city buildings and bridges become elements blurred by the depth of field, so that the background both establishes the scene and does not interfere with the subject. During post-processing, minor adjustments were made to the color of the sky, making the purple-blue more profound and rich, opening up color layers against the white dress. In terms of light transmission, the reflection from the river surface also played a role as a fill light, keeping the facial contours three-dimensional and clear without causing overexposure or overly heavy shadows. From early preparation to on-site execution, the photographer and the model cooperated very smoothly throughout this entire piece of cosplay photography for Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel. I also hope to display this natural state and clean colors captured in a real outdoor environment.
