This Yozakura series shoot at Manhua Manor really gave me a deeper understanding of "atmosphere." The cherry blossoms at Manhua Manor, interwoven with light and shadow, present an extremely dreamy and slightly oppressive texture, perfectly matching the core tone of the character Youmu Konpaku. As a loyal fan of the Touhou Project, I have always been fascinated by the broken beauty of this character. So, in this cosplay preparation, I paid special attention to the texture details of the clothing, especially the floral decorations on the skirt and that special skull accessory, aiming to reflect the complexity of the character's inner world. During the on-site shooting, since the light and shadow changed very quickly at night, the photographer and I communicated repeatedly about composition, striving to capture the moment light and shadow swept across the hair. The bright red paper umbrella formed a strong color contrast against the white cherry blossom background; this visual conflict is exactly what I wanted to express. In the post-production stage, I focused more on the tone, strengthening that dreamlike hue, making every frame look like a delicate Eastern painting. This work is not only a tribute to the character but also a collision of aesthetics and emotions. I hope everyone can see that unique soul wandering in the cherry blossoms in my mind.
