This photoshoot completely blew me away. Surrounded by an overwhelming abundance of fresh flowers, precisely restoring that agile yet gentle girlish vibe of the Little Cherry Blossom Fairy indeed set a very high bar for texture control. I absolutely have to give a huge thumbs-up to Master Ding; his lens language is highly cinematic, with the layering of colors and the flow of light and shadow handled perfectly—it even makes one feel like the photographer was so awed by his own work that he "turned into cheese right on the spot." To restore this costume with a "Doll Era" style, I put a lot of effort into the fabric fold details, the stacking of flowers, and the overall color balance. The core objective was to restore that dreamy and romantic atmosphere in Cardcaptor Sakura. Capturing the character's clear gaze amidst the blooming flowers, combined with delicate Portrait photography techniques, successfully created an immersive beauty as if being right inside a Sea of flowers. This highly accurate cosplay process is not only a test of the costume, makeup, and styling, but also a tribute to the character's soul. Every time I see the final photos, I feel a sense of achievement from resonating with the character's soul, and I highly look forward to more interesting cross-industry collaborations next time.
