This photoshoot of Honkai: Star Rail's Sparkle required extensive effort right from the preparation stage. The costume's red-and-black color blocking paired with white lace ruffles contains abundant details—especially the prints on the wide bell sleeves, which feature red-and-black diamonds, playing card suits, and stylized bunny motifs. The keyhole cutout on the chest and the black corset also needed to display their rich textures under studio lighting. The wig combined pale blonde twin tails with flowing loose hair, accented by a tilted black mini top hat, white rabbit ears, and ribbon bows, bringing the entire silhouette to life. For makeup, purple contact lenses paired with reddish-pink blending around the eyes and teardrop face gems highlighted the character's mysterious yet lively aura.

The shooting location was an indoor studio featuring a red diamond-tufted leather sofa set against a blue starry sky backdrop. The cool-and-warm color clash between red and blue created an intense visual punch. The illuminated train and cosmic planets on the background screen provided a wonderful atmospheric ambient glow. In terms of props, the black-and-white bunny plush crossbody bag served as a fantastic accent; whether cradled in my arms or resting beside my legs, it injected playful liveliness into the frame. We also brought a red-and-gold prop gun, which enriched the scene when placed along the edge of the sofa.

For posing and role-playing game character performance, I experimented with multiple seated postures. Sitting cross-legged on the couch highlighted the layered flare of the skirt and leg lines, while switching between black platform ankle boots and bare feet provided distinct visual moods. Flashing peace signs paired with shifting glances effectively channeled that signature buoyant Path of Elation energy. Maintaining an upright back posture during shooting was essential—even in casual sitting poses, body alignment had to remain disciplined to let the garment's tailoring shine. The oversized cuffs could easily obstruct the camera or appear bulky, requiring constant angle adjustments to use the natural drape of the sleeves for composition.

Throughout the session, controlling light and color was the primary priority. Front fill light had to stay soft to keep the skin luminous while preserving depth in the black fabrics. Side-rim backlights sculpted the outlines of the hair and hemline, allowing the figure to pop crisply from the deep background. Seamless collaboration with the photographer was equally critical; we tried various camera angles around the sofa to capture the most authentic, dynamic expressions. The final photos were thoroughly satisfying—both the color saturation and fine details fully lived up to my expectations for this anime cosplay vision.
