Regarding Huohuo, when I first saw the concept art, her 'timid yet brave' contrast was instantly captivating. Since this shoot coincides with the 'Ten-Lords Decree' theme, my photographer and I decided to lean into a Xianxia folklore vibe for this Honkai: Star Rail Huohuo cosplay, capturing her lively spirit.

First, about the costume and props: The mint-green wig is silky, with the blunt bangs and sideburns being crucial for character accuracy. The deep blue cloth hat with white piping, paired with the White tights cosplay and tassel-trimmed socks, looks exquisite under studio lighting. The cyan-blue off-shoulder coat, layered over a white shirt, creates great contrast with the purple-and-white wavy patterns, while the red neck rope and pendant add depth.

Props are the highlight: The long staff, the yellow paper dolls (the visual anchor), and the cyan fire spirit effects perfectly bring the theme of Exorcising demons and capturing ghosts to life.

Setting: We chose an antique-style Chinese interior. The wooden screens and carved door frames provided the perfect backdrop for this Portrait photography session. Using natural light with post-production cool cyan tones effectively captured the quiet moments of rest during her duties.

Overall, unlike previous shoots that required forced, stiff expressions, this one felt very organic. Playing with the paper dolls and staff made the character come alive. This experience truly felt like being a Ten-Lords Commission member in Honkai: Star Rail. If you enjoy this oriental fantasy aesthetic, I hope you can feel the dedication and passion we poured into this Huohuo cosplay.
