To do justice to Firefly this time, my budget completely hit rock bottom. From customizing the wig to tailoring the outfit, sitting in this cluttered room taking selfies in front of the camera took quite an effort. Sourcing large-diameter purple contact lenses, picking the right pink eyeshadow palette and blush for the Sweet girl makeup, plus custom costume tailoring took up the lion's share of expenses—especially the intricate golden wing ornament on the chest, which was painstakingly secured by hand piece by piece. The turquoise and black-and-gold vest is quite heavy, and the ruffled inner top required repeated adjustments, taking a long time to get right.

This time I went with a sweet everyday style: the base foundation was kept as clean as possible, blush was swept under the eyes to soften facial contours, and a lustrous deep-red lipstick gave the lips a much fuller shape. Styling the wig with Silver hair and blue tail gradient tips took a lot of work—using hair wax to shape the curls at the ends and bring out the blue gradient layers, which, paired with the black-and-gold headband and ribbons, created great dimensional depth. Although I could only shoot in this simple setting using natural light and built-in phone filters where lighting was unstable, I took over a hundred shots to find the optimal angle, constantly adjusting my face angle and eye gaze. Picking the single most satisfying shot wasn't easy, and post-editing only refined skin details to preserve the authentic makeup effect. Looking at myself in the mirror, I feel every penny spent was worth it. Treating every Anime cosplay recreation with dedication and leaving no regrets is what matters most.
