From preparation to shooting, this outfit and styling took over a month to realize. The overall teal and Blue theme alongside the hardcore mechanical structure were custom-built entirely based on my personal concept of cyberpunk aesthetics. Because the setting leans toward a wasteland and electronic vibe, we scouted a Server room scene packed with abandoned monitors and floors draped in tangled cables. The circuit line decals on the legs were hand-drawn; to complement the heavy metallic greaves and combat boots, we explored numerous compositional angles.
The high leg raises and leaning stances demanded rigorous balance control, while the floor cables constantly caught on boot soles, requiring repeated cycles of standing and kneeling. The small trinkets along the waist tended to dislodge during dynamic poses, needing constant repositioning. The photographer deployed cool blue overhead and side key lights to maximize the metallic sheen on the Mecha style breastplate while rendering the white legs naturally. Because this is an original design without official source material, customizing the costume, assembling breastplate hardware, and trimming the wig to test dynamic twin-tail flow took considerable experimentation.
From staging to retouching, considerable effort went into harmonizing the phosphor glow from vintage CRT monitors and oscilloscopes. Resting or leaning within this setup resonated seamlessly with the aloof sci-fi motif. The final selects preserved mechanical grit while ultra-wide lenses accentuated spatial tension and kinetic silhouettes, delivering a polished Cyberpunk cosplay piece that balances structural armor with feminine elegance.
