[Shizuyama Mashiro cosplay] Blue Archive's midsummer pool party

The midsummer pool party officially begins. Putting on this outfit makes the surrounding air feel cool. Today, I bring you the Shizuyama Mashiro swimsuit cosplay from Blue Archive. To fit the summer-limited theme, this time we deliberately chose an outdoor swimming pool side for the shooting location. The summer sunlight was extremely fierce, but fortunately, the reflection from the pool surface acted like a natural fill light board, making the skin texture look exceptionally translucent. To restore the character, I wore purple contact lenses, matched with black shoulder-length short hair and neat bangs, plus the headband with a white bow on top of my head, establishing the overall visual tone.
In terms of clothing, this black halter-neck ruffle swimsuit is the focus. To increase layering, I also matched a black wide choker around my neck. Although the small black wings prop on the back is not big, when turning sideways or turning around, it can richly enrich the outline of the frame. In addition, the pink-and-white color-blocked hooded jacket is also the finishing touch; instead of wearing it properly, I let it slip half down my arms or casually draped it to one side, creating a lazy, casual resort feel and preventing the frame from appearing too monotonous.
Everyone sees me holding lollipops and drinks in my hand; in fact, these are not entirely pose props, but also my life-saving artifacts during shooting intervals. The outdoor temperature was too high that day, and the bottle of lemon water and the yellow canned drink in my hand were genuinely for drinking. When capturing the moment of handing over the drink, the photographer asked me to lean my body forward and stretch my hand toward the camera, just like asking the person in front of the screen whether they want to drink soda together, maximizing the interactive vibe. When sitting by the pool, to showcase the leg lines, I adjusted my sitting posture several times, and the white cloth underneath and the blue mosaic tiles formed a great color contrast.
Speaking of water play antics, although wearing a swimsuit, it's not convenient to actually get into the water in such a public area. However, by interacting with inflatable swim rings and various small props on the shore, we captured many vivid moments. Shooting this set of pictures was actually quite a test of expression management, because the sunlight was dazzling, and a slight inattention would make me squint. To maintain the character's slightly aloof yet playful state, I tried to keep my facial muscles relaxed, my mouth slightly open, and my gaze carrying a faint sense of directness.
Looking closely at the last few pictures, you can see the pink handbag filled with various drinks and sundries, with a glowing phone placed next to it—these are all traces of our real shooting site. Although the outdoor natural light is good, it changes very fast, requiring the photographer to constantly chase the light. Moreover, the strong reflection of the water surface is also a test for the durability of the makeup. Fortunately, the final presented effect fits the atmosphere of a summer pool party very well, having both a cool feeling and retaining the character's traits.
Once this batch of photos is edited, I'm going to grab an ice cream to cool down first; the pool water under the sunlight today is truly too dazzling.
