[Misono Mika cosplay] The dream and cuteness of Blue Archive, the daily life of a pink-haired girl

I recently dug out this backlog set of Misono Mika photos from last year while sorting through my album. Back then, to restore this character well, I truly put a lot of thought into the makeup, hair, and costume details. Looking back now, I still feel that the light and dreamlike atmosphere was captured perfectly.

Let's talk about the overall styling for this shoot first. To fit the character setting, I wore light-colored contacts, paired with pink long straight hair and the iconic front bangs. That gradient halo headpiece with star decorations on top of my head is one of the highlights of the styling. Although it takes a bit of skill to wear, the final visual effect is amazing. I chose a white-themed dress. The neckline is a sailor collar spliced with gold-edged ribbon, and the deep blue velvet big bow on the chest, paired with a small metallic crucifix pendant, looks very layered under the soft light. The hem and cuffs feature fine lace ruffles, which, combined with the golden totem embroidered badges on the shoulders and skirt, beautifully convey the heavy craftsmanship and exquisiteness of the entire costume, making it an excellent piece of portrait photography.

Most of this photo set was completed in an indoor environment. White gauze curtains, wooden floors, soft cushions and pillows, plus the embellishment of green plants in the back, create a quiet and private home atmosphere. Especially in that photo where I'm chewing on the floor, the photographer captured a very comfortable side angle. The natural light from the window gently spilled onto the white tights, making the black patent leather criss-cross strap high heels particularly eye-catching. This pairing not only elongated the leg lines but also echoed the character's temperament perfectly—possessing both innocent childishness and a touch of subtle elegance.

Speaking of details, we also prepared some iconic props at that time, such as that brown teddy bear and the black-and-white toy gun. When cradling the teddy bear, the overall frame looks exceptionally cute; placing the weapon model next to me adds a bit of contrast to the character. This is exactly where the fun of an anime cosplay character lies for me.

For the makeup and hair, the makeup artist specially emphasized a slightly reddish effect around the eyes. Combined with a clear foundation, it made the overall facial contours look soft and relaxed, which also fits the energetic and playful vibe of a pink-haired girl character perfectly. I remember that to pull off this look alongside daily actions during the shoot—like flipping hair with one hand or kneeling on the bed while hugging my knees—the fluffiness of the clothes and the expansion of the skirt were just right.

The photographer's handling of light and shadow was very delicate, keeping the overall tone in a warm, soft, pink-and-white layered spectrum. It lacked any eye-straining high saturation, offering instead a delicate quality akin to a private portrait session. This set of photos is not just roleplay but a record of trying to interpret the character's personality through the lens. Revisiting last year's backlog photos, I still feel that this dreamlike and girl-centric story has been beautifully preserved within these frames.
