Eating a bowl of piping hot instant ramen on a tatami mat can be considered a little romance of mine in recreating this character's daily routine. The preparation for this shoot was very thorough. First, in terms of clothing coordination, I chose the character's most classic look for her daily home life. This loose white long-sleeved T-shirt paired with pink short shorts, plus that pair of pure white over-the-knee stockings, instantly maximized that laid-back outfit vibe with a touch of daily home life.

As for the makeup and styling details, a lot of thought went into the wig this time. Not only did we achieve a fluffy hair texture, but we also carefully adjusted the connection between the wig, the beast ears, and the hair accessories. The metal buckle collar on the neck is the soul accent of the entire outfit, visually balancing the looseness brought by the oversized top. Actually, many details are hidden in the props. For example, with that bowl of steaming instant ramen, we fiddled around several times back and forth just to find the right angle to capture the realism of the rising steam. The moment of holding the chopsticks in my mouth, as well as the dynamic feeling when lifting the cup noodles to interact, completely captured that blissful state of daily home life brought by food.

These two photos also feature compositions I am highly satisfied with. The photographer was great at capturing the warm-toned indoor light, casting it onto the tatami and the blue checkered tablecloth. Combined with the arrangement of books, plushies, and green plants in the background, the entire frame's sense of life and atmosphere is beautifully unified. This kind of light hitting the body also gives the white sweatshirt and white stockings a soft texture, perfectly fitting the character's designated atmosphere.

Sometimes, a good cosplay work doesn't necessarily have to feature gorgeous combat gear or complex special effect scenes. Recreating her private, authentic, cute, and slightly dorky daily routine like this while staying true to the character's setting is actually much more infectious. Delivering this comfortable and natural feeling is something I value greatly during roleplay. Many people might think shooting this kind of daily style is simple, but to express an effortless sense of relaxation, extra care is required at every step—from the early makeup and styling planning to the layout of indoor furnishings and props.
