[Jinhsi cosplay] Wuthering Waves' Beautiful Dream and Illusion, reuniting in the passage of time

The final photos of Wuthering Waves "Beautiful Dream and Illusion" are finally here to meet everyone. To accurately restore Jinhsi's cool yet profound texture, I repeatedly polished the makeup, styling, and expressions. The set design style we chose this time leans towards Chinese style classical, attempting to construct a peaceful space belonging to her in the light and shadow. Especially those bright yellow maple leaf embellishments formed an excellent visual tension with the overall white and blue color scheme, filling the whole scene with a sense of destiny, as if time froze for a moment here.

During the actual shooting process, we cared very much about the direction of the light. In order to express the sense of reunion spoken of by the Sentinel, the light and shadow must have a certain narrative element, wrapping the character gently like moonlight rather than harsh illumination. This pursuit of details is not only for visual gorgeousness but also to truly make the character "come alive." The lace details on the apparel and the texture of the accessories were also core points of our repeated communication, striving to make every fold match the elegance in the character design.

At the same time, the makeup processing was also a top priority. To complement Jinhsi's cool temperament, the extension of the eye makeup and the restraint of the lip color underwent multiple attempts. Special thanks to @FemalePhotographerXianXianXianZi for her professional support in photography and set design; her understanding of Chinese style aesthetics is spot on, which greatly elevated the aesthetic height of the entire work. Seeing the flow of Jinhsi's gaze in the final photos, all the sweat and communication costs turned into a sense of accomplishment. As a cosplayer, I feel truly proud to cooperate with such an excellent team to produce such a high-standard "Beautiful Dream and Illusion" official photo set.
