[Cartethyia Cosplay] Saint of Wuthering Waves: A Serene Moment Within the Flower Realm

This photo set, using bushes of flowers, wooden window frames, and a white plush floor as the backdrop, is a recent shoot production that I am exceptionally satisfied with.

To accurately present that holy, elven feeling of Cartethyia, the makeup utilizes complexion-enhancing red lips paired with light blue colored contacts, along with her signature elf ear accessories, hoping to bring out a cool yet gentle atmosphere as a form of elf cosplay. The costume is mainly based on a black theme, cleverly combining off-the-shoulder and midriff-baring designs. The white wide arm sleeves are adorned with blue-green gradients and gold patterns at the edges, while the cyan branches of the headpiece and the small blue bead pendants by the ears act as wonderful highlights in the entire frame.

The shooting scene utilized a large volume of purple and white flowers in varying shades to enrich the background, which, combined with the white plush carpet on the floor and the wooden arched door frame, presents a serene sense of space in a flower realm in front of the lens. Because the material of the costume is relatively light, especially the sleeves and ribbons, it heavily tested the candid capture angles. This photo set experimented with sitting, side-lying, and flat-lying high-angle perspectives, perfectly displaying the dynamic stance of the outfit from different angles for this sea of flowers photo shoot.

The silver-white vine-like anklet at the ankle is a detail bonus point, echoing the botanical vines on the wrists to give the overall look more vitality. The overall post-processing style chose a translucent and bright high-key color grading with no excessively complex shadows, striving to present this dreamy and soft visual tone. During the shoot, the photographer and I repeatedly discussed camera positioning, aiming to remain concise while perfectly fitting the character's set temperament on this outfit with many replicated details.

After multiple coordinations of angles and lighting, the final atmosphere of the photos turned out quite ideal. This environment filled with blooming flowers and natural elements makes it very easy to calm one's heart and enter the zone. Thanks to the photographer's patient capture, this Cartethyia photo shoot documented many moments worth looking back on in my Coser daily life.
