Starting from the preparation of the entire makeup and costume, Youhu's iconic white hair and blue-and-white color scheme outfit actually have a great sense of detail. The black gloves and this purple ring pendant visually enhance the character's techwear style and recognizability. During the shoot, I chose a Chinese-style real-scene studio, combined with that wooden round chair and shelf, hoping to bring out a bit of an antique appraisal atmosphere.
To recreate that confident yet playful tsundere expression of hers, I specially tried several different sitting poses. In the first photo, slightly lifting my leg and resting one hand on the armrest was actually meant to give the entire photo a more relaxed tension. In terms of makeup, I focused on portraying her clear blue eyes and soft facial contours, preserving the character's cool demeanor while adding a touch of agility to her smile. The hanging wisteria flowers and ornaments in the scene also nicely enriched the colors of the frame.
Although wearing this relatively lightweight short outfit, the shoot actually had high requirements for lighting and body angles, and it took repeated adjustments to find the most natural state. After the whole set of photos came out, I was very satisfied with this casual cosplay interaction vibe. In this styling, the Appraisal Master is not just posing statically; I hoped to present her composure and confidence in her own judgment. After finishing this set of photos, I also gained a deeper understanding of the character.
