Shooting this "Delusional Angel" theme for the Zenless Zone Zero Sunna cosplay was all about conveying the character's quirky, slightly provocative, and playful charm through expressions and body language. The shoot took place in a park in the afternoon, where the natural sunlight filtering through tree leaves created dappled lighting—perfect for creating nice contrast on the White stockings and sneakers. As for the costume, the white printed camisole paired with dark blue white-striped shorts, over-the-knee White stockings, and chunky platform sneakers created well-balanced proportions that showcased the leg lines while keeping a youthful, energetic Loli aesthetic. The cat-ear hair accessory and black-and-white ribbons on the head added cute anime elements, which, paired with the ruffled wrist cuffs, gave the overall look a very playful vibe.
For props, I used a red megaphone and a winged red backpack. The megaphone even had a cat sticker wearing black-rimmed glasses; these props not only added richness to the frames but also made posing feel much more natural. The park's curved wooden bench served as an excellent spot for Outdoor photography—the texture of the wood combined with the blurred background greenery helped separate the subject cleanly from the surroundings. Choosing a seated pose allowed my body to relax and let my gaze look directly into the camera lens. The composition in Photo 1 is tighter, and the frontal angle nicely shows off the body contours and leg lines with a strong visual punch, which is why it was chosen as the cover.
In post-processing, we kept light and shadow mostly untouched to preserve the natural translucency of the skin. Before shooting, I kept adjusting the direction of the wig, as the mint-green color looks very bright in outdoor sunlight and the bangs needed meticulous styling. The megaphone was rather heavy, making my wrists sore after holding it up for a while, but I powered through to get the best shots. The costume was made of fairly breathable fabrics, so moving around outdoors in the camisole and shorts combo was easy and comfortable. Overall, this Outdoor photography experience was very pleasant, perfectly capturing the character's distinct personality under natural light.
