This Wang Dong'er ensemble centers around a palette of light blue and soft pink, crafted from lightweight fabrics with a graceful drape. The upper half features a white inner layer with a ruffled light blue neckline, topped by a cropped pink jacket with wide bell sleeves. The jacket edges are finished with golden trim and blue round gemstone accents, cinched at the waist with a metallic gold waistband that not only flatters the waistline but also brings distinct visual definition to the layered outfit. Below, a light blue pleated skirt with a white ruffled lining naturally fans out with every step.

Styling the wig was the primary focus of this look. To faithfully capture the character design, I chose long, straight light blue hair featuring delicate pink gradient tips, styled with an elevated hair bundle on the crown to add height. For makeup, light blue contact lenses were paired to harmonize with the overall palette, emphasizing eye enlargement and brightening, while a clean, translucent base brought out sculpted facial contours. The oversized, translucent light blue butterfly hairpiece perched on top was custom-made; blending craft wire with sheer materials, it emitted a luminous, crystalline texture under the venue's overhead lights.

The shoot took place inside the Dongguan Firefly convention venue, surrounded by soaring industrial-style ceilings and bright matrix overhead lighting. Venue lighting is typically scattered and harsh, so to emphasize the subject, we carefully framed out crowds and used a wide aperture to blur the dense photography equipment and passing attendees, keeping all visual focus on posture and form. In terms of pose design, to channel her lightheartedness and confidence, I struck a pose pointing one index finger toward the lens while extending the other arm gracefully to the side. The flared pink sleeves draped naturally as my arms raised, extending the compositional lines.

Navigating the convention floor in this attire required patience. The long light blue pleated skirt had to be lifted slightly on stairs to prevent tripping. The pairing of White stockings with chunky white Mary Jane block heels not only elongated leg proportions but also echoed the overarching fresh aesthetic. The stretchy material of the stockings hugged the legs comfortably, though standing and walking all day at the con was undeniably a workout. The metallic waist piece looked stunning, though it needed slight repositioning while sitting down to avoid bending.

The overall shoot progressed smoothly: the wig's gradient tones and the outfit's blue-and-pink color clash offered wonderful expressive power on camera, while the billowing sleeves amplified the dynamic energy of each pose. The beauty of this look lies in how warm pink accents pierce through a sea of cool tones, accented by the translucent butterfly ornament to make the character feel truly alive. I personally adore every subtle nuance of this Wang Dong'er costume—from the engraved patterns on the metallic sash to the gentle sweep of the cuffs, every inch was well worth highlighting before the lens.
