When shooting this Tachibana Nozomi look, my main focus was conveying the character's refreshing yet ethereal, fairy-like vibe within an intimate domestic setting. Seeing the white bedsheets bathed in natural light filtering through sheer curtains, we decided on a high-key exposure technique to highlight the character's translucent clarity. Styling the long green hair and the elf ear props required substantial effort—especially securing the ears firmly in place—while positioning the halo prop overhead to create that floating illusion was also quite a test.
For the makeup, I used pink- and red-toned eyeshadow to harmonize with amber contact lenses, ensuring my complexion remained vibrant under bright illumination. The light-blue dress paired with an off-white chunky knit cardigan cultivated a languid, cozy atmosphere, fitting Tachibana Nozomi's clever and spirited aura from the Highlander Twins Cosplay lore.
The first pose, sitting comfortably while holding a mug, felt very natural, but I think the second pose—extending my legs forward while resting my chin on my hands—better showcased body lines and made for a stronger key visual. Throughout the Home-style photoshoot, I remained conscious of extending my limbs to prevent relaxed seating angles from flattering the legs poorly. The photographer skillfully guided my gaze to keep facial expressions soft and effortless. Post-processing primarily focused on brightening the skin, enhancing the translucent glow of the green hair, and preserving the organic folds and textures of the bedsheets. The entire session was genuinely delightful; contrasting the Green hair elf ears styling against a relaxed home setting yielded a wonderful visual harmony, making for a refreshing character experience.
