Standing on the railroad tracks in this railway uniform, I genuinely felt that subtle mindset of 'it's totally fine even if I'm called a small fry' (laughs). This time I'm cosplaying Tachibana Nozomi from Blue Archive. To restore the character's elf ears and iconic green long hair, the wig and ear accessories were adjusted for a very long time, striving to present that both competent and slightly playful railway employee temperament in front of the lens. The dark blue and light blue patchwork of the uniform, along with the walkie-talkie at the waist and the armband, allowed no carelessness in the details. The shoot was selected at a real railway crossing; the sleepers, gravel, and tracks extending into the distance make the entire frame full of narrative feel. Considering the outdoor lighting and the perspective of the railroad tracks, low angles and low camera positions were specially adjusted, wanting to shoot the character's slender figure and uniform lines sharply. The pairing of white gloves and uniform shorts preserves the character setting while adding a visual crispness. Actually, the most interesting part of cosplay is being able to bring 2D settings into reality through costumes and scenes. Although the shooting process this time was a bit tiring, seeing that unique aura belonging to Tachibana Nozomi in the final photos makes it all completely worth it.
