The theme of this shoot is the cat version of Takanashi Hoshino from Blue Archive. In the preliminary preparation of costume and props, to recreate that feeling of being both lazy and slightly sly, we made trade-offs in many details. The wig was deliberately chosen with a gradient pink effect, and the height and arc of the twin-tails were adjusted several times. To make the pink animal ears on top of the head and that iconic halo look more natural, quite a few invisible bobby pins were used for fixation. In the eye makeup part, bright blue contact lenses paired with reddish eyeshadow blending strive to present a two-dimensional translucent feel in front of the lens.

On the costume, the loose white off-shoulder top actually received a small clever modification, allowing the neckline drop to just reveal a bit of collarbone line, which, paired with the pink cat paw print on the chest, looks visually more lively. The lower body was paired with pink base shorts, matched with white over-the-knee thigh-high stockings, which not only facilitates making various big movements on site but also wonderfully highlights the leg lines. The white choker and golden bell on the neck are the finishing touches; with the slightest movement, the bell chimes along, greatly enhancing the sense of immersion.

This time's pose reference focused heavily on cat habits. To imitate the lightness of a cat, many postures required core engagement. For instance, sitting on that huge white plush ball with legs crossed and insteps straightened—on one hand, it's to elongate the leg proportions and showcase the texture of the white stockings, and on the other hand, it's to maintain absolute stability of the center of gravity. There is also the pose of lying flat on the carpet with hands supporting the ground, shoulders slightly lowered, and gaze looking up at the lens from below with a hint of curiosity and probing. In the shots of lying sideways while hugging the blue whale doll, the body curls up slightly, closing eyes or gazing straight into the lens, mainly trying to express the character's relaxed state after letting down her guard.

The photographer OUKAI provided a lot of guidance during this shoot. The lighting on site was actually quite complex, using high-power softboxes for facial fill light, cooperating with the overhead lights of the comic con venue in the background to form circles of beautiful bokeh. The white long-pile plush carpet and plush ball props happened to unify the overall color tone into a soft, dreamy atmosphere. Immersed in that fluffy texture, accompanied by various stretching and kneeling/lying movements, I felt as if I had truly transformed into a lazy cat.
