[Kafka cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail—The Stellaron Hunters' Command Site

This set of convention photos for Kafka focuses on her setting as one of the Stellaron Hunters in Honkai: Star Rail. To accurately restore the traits of this character, I tried my best to stay close to the game's native texture in choosing the costume materials and polishing the prop details. The leather reflection of the coat, the cutout design on the shoulders, and the metal buckles at the waist, along with the red-and-black straps and leg rings, were all meticulously paired. The white hair with deep red highlights on the wig also required careful attention to layering, combining with the goggles on top of the head to enhance the sci-fi feel.

The shooting location was a space built with a large number of old monitors, messy cables, and neon tubes; this near-future Cyberpunk environment perfectly matches the tech-filled tone of Honkai: Star Rail that carries a dangerous aura. For the lighting, a contrast between cool purple and white light was used to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the facial features, especially the eye makeup which highlights the upturned eyeliner to fit the character's calm, composed, and stern demeanor. Although this entire outfit has numerous accessories, particularly the drape of the coat and the tightness of the gloves which required constant adjustment, poses like swinging the trench coat with a large range of motion or drawing the sword and pressing down instead brought out an ease of control and tension. From styling to the light and shadow atmosphere, I tried my best to share a highly restored Kafka with everyone this time through this Cosplay photography project.
