These selfie studio customer photos were completed at a local studio specializing in Cyberpunk style, featuring two vastly different sets. The first was a scene draped with dark iron chains, where red and black ambient under-lighting cast across my face, combined with the hard, cold texture of thick metal chains to firmly anchor the outfit's aura. The second was an esports room theme with blue and purple neon strips, multi-screen wallpapers, an illuminated keyboard, and an acrylic 'GAME OVER' sign, creating a highly immersive tech feel. The two scenes perfectly displayed both sides of the character—coolly holding a gun and relaxing with a glance backward.

First, let's talk about the outfit coordination. The white shirt serves as the primary base, with line cuts across the collar and chest guiding visual focus straight to the neck and collarbone area. The outer black cropped jacket features a large white geometric mesh print; this asymmetrical grid design broadens shoulder lines, giving the upper body a more powerful silhouette. For the bottom, a high-waisted fitted leather mini skirt was paired with black sheer stockings, lengthening leg proportions while bringing out a stunning subtle sheen on the stockings under close-up shots. The bright pink gloves were the most vibrant element in the entire look, featuring a silver-gray reflective texture on the surface that created a striking color contrast against the solid white shirt, serving as a visual anchor especially when holding prop guns or lifting the 'GAME OVER' sign. The black round sunglasses rested atop my head between hair strands; more than just decoration, pulling them down to partially cover my eyes during gun-holding glance-backs instantly created that signature mystery.

The hardest part to master during shooting was coordinating facial expressions with hand movements. The character inherently possesses an effortless composure, so expressions shouldn't be overly dramatic—slightly raising the chin, drooping the eyelids halfway, and pairing it with a subtle smirk works best. For the gun-holding set, I tried holding the gun sideways to use the metal glare of the barrel to add image depth; for the esports chair set, focus shifted to relaxing wrists and shoulders, keeping fingers relaxed even while wearing pink gloves. The iron chain set was more of a physical workout, as standing on a stool to match the chain's drape was necessary to form diagonal lines, leaning my body accordingly to enhance dynamic momentum.

Regarding lighting, the dark iron chain scene utilized a single red-dominant side key light, complemented by a narrow strip of cold backlight outlining contours, ensuring sharp highlights on the chains while facial lighting remained even. The esports room scene relied entirely on circular LED light strips and monitor backlights, where purple-red screen tones mixed with blue-white ambient lights to give skin a cool, translucent fair finish. I particularly loved the close-up holding the 'GAME OVER' sign, as the acrylic board's light permeability allowed light to project pink pixelated lettering directly onto my face, evoking a video game console screen aesthetic.

In post-production, the second photo incorporated local light effect synthesis; intersecting pink laser lines and splashing shards were added digitally to heighten the tension of a 'skill release' moment. Other photos focused on color optimization, enhancing neon saturation and purifying metal reflections to preserve authentic outfit and skin textures. The entire shoot took about two to three hours, including scene changes, equipment adjustments, and makeup touch-ups—tiring, but deeply rewarding upon seeing final results. The studio provided comprehensive props like guns and light signs that looked great on camera, which, paired with my brought white shirt and jacket, required minimal extra gear.

What attracted me most to this styling was the contrast between 'cold' and 'warm' elements—the cool tone of the white shirt and hard metallic chains contrasting with vibrant pink gloves and red hair kept visuals engaging. When shooting tech-focused Cosplay photography, maintaining steady eye focus is key: neither smiling too broadly nor remaining entirely emotionless, but exuding laziness through a lethal vibe. This set served as my foray into Cyberpunk style cosplay, yielding results exceeding expectations, particularly how the stocking and leather skirt combo lengthened legs from low-angle shots without looking forced.

Trying a battle-oriented look with iron chain scenes for the first time took time to figure out angles, eventually settling on a full diagonal drape paired with a dark red aura to immediately project oppressive tension. The esports room set leaned toward everyday life, resembling a candid shot after finishing a game, testing natural camera presence. Overall, it was a comfortable photoshoot experience where every scene found its expression, leaving a satisfying record for this outfit.
