The official shoot from this convention is finally here, featuring the Star Guardian duo of Kai'Sa and Seraphine from League of Legends! Partnering with Moxue on this duo collaboration made the overall convention photography process an absolute delight.

Regarding the costume and styling, to faithfully recreate the magical girl concept from League of Legends, the outfit features highly glossy metallic pink and pearlescent white fabrics, packed with details like the heart on the chest and gold trims. Though the large winged headpiece and star-shaped ear pieces look dramatic, they beautifully express the lively spirit of the Star Guardians. The wig is a striking bright pink, paired with reddish eye-corner makeup that made me feel like I truly transformed into a magical girl. My partner Moxue's Seraphine featured a golden-to-pink gradient hairstyle, matched with a blue bow and warm-toned skirt, creating a very harmonious color combination between us.

I must give special praise to weapon prop maker Uncle Xin. My twin blades feature massive three-dimensional wing shapes; the red five-pointed star in the center and the spray paint texture are accurate to the game. More importantly, the weight is just right so it didn't disrupt our movement continuity while posing. Seraphine's magic staff was also crafted exquisitely, with the red gem at the top looking as if it's glowing.

For the cover photo, I chose this seated pose. During convention photography on-site, to show both the elegance and playfulness of Star Guardians, we specifically used a high bar stool as a prop. This pose elongates the leg lines and maximally showcases the holographic laser texture and gold star decorations on our boots. During the duo photo session, to match Seraphine's positioning and the battle vibe of magical girls, I adopted a dynamic side-squatting stance with my twin blades spread wide on both sides, while she raised her magic wand. The high-and-low combination created great spatial depth in the frame.

In truth, the shooting environment was a complex convention indoor venue, with passersby, posters, and other cosplayers behind us, and blue steel rafters overhead. But thanks to photographer B-kun's on-site lighting fill and composition guidance, chaotic light was effectively avoided, fully showcasing the highly reflective nature of the outfit fabrics. Many fans at the event recognized our characters and asked for photos. Although carrying these bulky props through crowds was tiring, receiving everyone's love made it truly rewarding.

The Star Guardian outfit series inherently carries a dreamy yet resilient charm. From early morning makeup preparation to repeated positioning, adjusting skirts and collars on-site, every step relied on great teamwork. As a cosplayer, bringing these 2D game characters into 3D reality in my own way brings an irreplaceable sense of achievement. This Star Guardian duo photoshoot is a heart-filled presentation from my partner and me, and we hope to convey the brilliant, shining starlight of Star Guardians to you watching from the screen!
