This time cosplaying The Shorekeeper from Wuthering Waves, a great deal of thought truly went into costumes, makeup, and props. The translucent pearl fabric of the outer coat took a long time to select because I wanted to recreate that watery, flowing texture, requiring the material choice to have both a draping feel and a hint of reflection. The pleats on the edge of the hood were also specially set. To match the character setting, the shooting scene was chosen on nighttime seaside reefs. The biggest difficulty in night shooting actually lies in lighting and wind interference; because the sea breeze kept blowing, the skirt hem and wig easily plastered onto the face, requiring the photographer to constantly adjust the shutter speed and fill-light angles. We used one main light plus one cool-toned rim light, which nicely rendered a fair skin texture while making the blue clothing look more translucent against the dark-toned background.

Regarding accessories, the silver metal armlet on the arm easily slipped off, so I kept adjusting its position during shoot breaks. The white flower and butterfly decorations on the hand were fixed to the fingers using invisible fishing line, which preserved the aesthetics while keeping movements natural. The character herself is set as barefoot; stepping on the rough reefs was indeed a bit pricking to the feet, and with the uneven stone surfaces, finding a center of gravity was very difficult. To maintain that sense of lightness, core muscles were constantly engaged. In terms of poses, I tried to use sideways and curled-up postures more often, partly to showcase the leg lines, and partly to highlight The Shorekeeper's quiet, introverted, and even slightly melancholic traits. For eye expression handling, downcast eyes and slightly tilted head angles were frequently used, matching the cool light to create a sense of silent guardianship. Those photos looking straight into the camera aimed more to express her gentle side. Overall, under the background of night wind and reefs, this photo set maxes out the character's aloof yet gentle atmospheric vibe.
