This time I cosplayed Krul Tepes, the Third Progenitor from Seraph of the End. The red twin-tails and red colored contacts in the entire look are the focus. I spent some time before the shoot pondering over the fair skin base makeup and the outfit coordination controlling the three colors of red, black, and white. The black little demon wing hair accessories and the red bow ribbon on the neck are the finishing touches of this look, offering great visual contrast. At the same time, attention was paid to the layering between the sleeve cuffs on the shoulders and the lace on the skirt hem.

On the day of the shoot, red and black draperies were used to build the background, paired with some skull and candlestick props, aiming to create a Dark Gothic atmosphere fitting for the identity of the Vampire Queen. The on-site lighting utilized a reddish fill light, which better reflected the color saturation and layers of the wig, and with the help of the red colored contacts, the gaze could better convey the character's haughty nature. In order to capture the feeling of Krul in different states, I tried standing facing forward, looking back over the shoulder, and a few semi-reclining compositions during the shoot. Every movement required keeping the shoulder and neck lines aligned with the costume, exploring the best presentation of the character's look in 2D imagery through these attempts.

The overall styling still focused mainly on showcasing the character's iconic elements, and the tailoring and details of the costume were restored as much as possible to the original setting, while also retaining a photography style that suits me.

Subsequently, during the image post-processing stage, I focused on unifying and adjusting the skin tone and wig hues, reducing distractions from background clutter to make the focus more concentrated on the character, while enhancing the atmospheric feel of the red environment. The setting of the Vampire Queen inherently carries a bit of eccentricity and playfulness, so I also consciously captured some relaxed interactive gestures that fit the character profile in the photos, adding a bit more narrative feel to the static frames. Krul's trait of possessing both the majesty of the Third Progenitor and a childlike appearance has always been the reason why this character is so popular.

As a Cosplay sharing, from the wig styling and makeup to putting on the costume, every step was done to best restore the essence of the character. Although the entire shooting process required dealing with many accessories and details, I am very comforted to finally present a visually unified image effect. I hope this interpretation allows everyone to feel the unique charm of this character.
