[Keqing cosplay] Genshin Impact Maid Outfit: Another Interpretation of the Animal Ears Look

Taking photos in this Keqing cosplay Maid outfit actually took much more time than imagined; just styling the wig took over an hour. The gradient layers and bangs curvature for this Purple hair cosplay need to fit the character setting as much as possible, while also ensuring they don't block my vision when looking down. The cat ears (Animal ears) on top of my head are an extra accessory, which unexpectedly match Keqing's purple hair color palette very well, adding a bit of a lively visual feel. The metal badge and bow at the neck are the visual centerpiece of the entire outfit. When taking photos, I had to pay special attention to my neck posture to keep the collar looking crisp.

The sleeves utilize a large area of light gauze material, which has a great drape, but they easily slide down when raising my arms. Therefore, during the shoot, I specially chose a half-raised hand pose to display the layers of the cuff ribbons and bows. The white fabric of the skirt bodice features gold-stamped patterns. Combined with the purple waistband and the tassel pendants on the side of the waist, the overall rather gorgeous color scheme looks quite soft under indoor warm light.

This time, I experimented with softer lighting and a lower-angle selfie, giving the gaze a focused feel while preserving the flowing details of the skirt hem and hair ends. I checked every strap and metal ring on the costume to ensure there were no unwanted reflections or loose parts. Although it was just a test shoot, I made some adjustments to my makeup—elongating the eyeliner slightly and pairing it with purple colored contacts to make my gaze a bit sharper. After finishing this set of photos, I found that combining a Maid outfit with Keqing's original capable and sharp temperament creates a kind of gap moe. When sorting through the images, I felt this angle best showcases the upper body details of the costume and the arm decorations, without making the frame look crowded.
