This set of Formidable cosplay from Azur Lane in her bunny girl outfit is finally out! The shooting location was chosen in a very atmospheric bar, where the layout, light, and shadow matched this costume exceptionally well.

The fabric of the costume is quite unique, primarily black velvet, which carries a gorgeous dark texture both tactilely and visually. The headwear features black bunny ears paired with large white lace frills on both sides, adding gothic elegance within the black-and-white contrast. The upper body takes an off-the-shoulder design paired with detachable black lantern sleeves, also adorned with white lace at the cuffs. The neck collar and white bowtie serve as finishing touches, neutralizing the overall maturity while keeping a hint of playfulness.

The lower half features a classic high-cut bunny bodysuit, where the most eye-catching element is the combination of white tights and black strappy leg rings forming this White thigh-highs outfit. During shooting, I intentionally picked standing and seated poses that showcase these details—such as sitting on the edge of the bar counter or on a high stool—ensuring the lens captures the contours of the legs and shoes. The venue was rich in texture. A full wall of liquor cabinets showed a translucent feel as light struck the bottles. Inverted stemware at the top created an artistic ambiance under cool strip lighting. The photographer utilized the depth of this space, employing a wide aperture and dim lighting treatment to gently blur the background while emphasizing the main subject. The cool-toned cyan background formed a great color contrast with the black-and-white bunny outfit, keeping the image clean and high-end.

I attempted several different states in this set. In some, I leaned against the bar counter, holding a red wine glass in one hand with a slightly relaxed gaze to create a tipsy, mysterious vibe. In others, I sat on a high bar stool, pulling white ribbons on the outfit to add dynamic playfulness. I also sat on wide black or dark red leather chairs, crossing or raising my legs to easily display the sleek aesthetics of the white stockings and red-soled heels. In particular, the photo sitting on the bar edge pulling the ribbon left plenty of negative space, beautifully showcasing upper-body details and the lower-body elongation of this Bunny girl cosplay.

The hairstyle for this shoot featured long silver-white hair paired with straight bangs and face-framing stray hair, providing great face-slimming effects and styling presence. Eye makeup slightly emphasized the outer contours to deepen the gaze, maxing out the atmosphere under specific lighting. White stockings reflected light wonderfully in the dim environment, which, combined with black leather details, highlighted the key features of this look.
